Starting his career as a copywriter, he has written hundreds of ad film scripts on some of the leading brands in India and helped them grow in their respective categories.
Ankur also has an experience of theatre where he has written, directed, produced and even acted in, several skits and plays - mainly comedies. He says his theatre experience has taught equipped him with a better understanding of the audience's minds - especially when it comes to humour and comedy. Ankur has also made some short films while participating in an international short film making competition - 48 hr Film Project, where one is supposed to submit a film - from writing to finishing - in just 48 hours.
He has won Best Writing Awards everytime he participated in this competition along with winning Best Film and even Best Actor Awards. Couple of his short films have been screened at multiple short film festivals also and won awards there.
Taking his love with scriptwriting to the next level, Ankur has also contributed to the writing of the feature film KAAGAZ - featuring Pankaj Tripathi and Directed by Satish Kaushik. Even most of the ad films that Ankur has been involved in are stories rather than being the typical ad films.
During the course of his career he has worked with a lot of prominent personalities from the Indian Film Industry including Amitabh Bachchan, Mohanlal, Salman Khan, Mahesh Babu, Farhan Akhtar, Gajraj Rao, Imtiaz Ali, Priyadarshan, Rohan Sippy - to name a few.
Amit with 30 illustrious years in advertising behind him, and the experience of having worked with some of India’s rich-on-pedigree agencies in various positions of creative leadership, there is today a wealth of advertising wisdom under his receding hairline.
Armed with a degree in Applied Art from Delhi College of Art and a PGDBA from Institute of Marketing and Management (IMM), New Delhi - 110019, India, Amit has shaped up several national and international brands in the course of his long career.

Debotriya Chowdhury is a communication designer and final year student at National Institute of Design. She is passionate about animation and motion design, on the pursuit to know more and more about the medium. She has won the Scholarship at NID for the year 2020-2021. Ms. Chowdhury has created the artwork for the music video MUKHOSH for Cassettes and Conversations, a music group based in Zurich.

Amit did his Basic Mountaineering Course from Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering (A-Grade), Pahalgam, J & K, in the year 2015 and was given consolation prize, being one of the best 7 trainees amongst the group of over 80 trainees.
Amit did Advance Mountaineering Course from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand, which is one of the most prestigious Mountaineering Institute in Asia and World, with A-Grade.
Amit has scaled many peaks including DKD-2, Mount Yunam, Friendship Peak etc. and has experience of doing/traversing almost all treks, including some of the toughest and high altitude treks in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, most of them in alpine style.
